How to Create a Form (Step by Step)

Open the Form Builder

Go to Forms in your dashboard and click on Create New Form or edit an existing one.

You will see three main tabs:

  • Build — Add fields and set up logic
  • Design — Customize the appearance
  • Settings — Configure embedding options

Add Form Fields

In the Build tab, click + Add Field to add fields like Name, Email, Phone, Message, etc.

For every field, you can configure:

  • • Make it Required
  • • Add Placeholder text
  • • Add Helper Text (small description)
  • • Add custom Validation using regex

Add Conditional Logic (Smart Forms)

This is a powerful free feature. You can show or hide fields based on user answers.

How to use Conditional Logic:

  1. Check the box “Enable conditional visibility”
  2. Choose match type: All rules (AND) or Any rule (OR)
  3. Click + Add rule and set your conditions
  4. Example: Show “Phone Number” only if user selects “Call me back”
